About the role
We are currently hiring for a full time Cardiopulmonary Therapist within the Cardiopulmonary department here at Aspen Valley Health.
Responsibilities
- Works with patients that range from newborn to geriatric to perform all cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures and deliver all modalities of respiratory care from basic to advanced.
- Provides the highest level of appropriate patient care for patients in all areas of the hospital to include emergency patients, in-patients and out-patients.
Requirements
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program Advanced Provider (NRP)
- At least 2 years of well-rounded RT experience with a diverse patient population
Qualifications
- Experience with high risk deliveries and neonates preferred
- NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Experience with EPIC preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
