Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care as appropriate, while directing and supervising the Respiratory Therapy Department.
- Oversight of ancillary services departments, to include laboratory and radiology, dependent upon hospital need and structure.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Respiratory (BSRC or BSRT) preferred and may be required if the hospital operates a blood gas laboratory.
- Certifications: Current RRT registry required. BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of three to five years of experience in cardiopulmonary activities required. Minimum of one year experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
