Cardiology - Interventional Physician Job with UPMC in New Castle, PA
About the role
UPMC’s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) seeks a full-time, interventional cardiologist to join its expanding team. The successful candidate will enjoy a clinical academic appointment and provide interventional services at its UPMC Jameson location. HVI at UPMC Jameson, in collaboration with its Pittsburgh interventional colleagues, provides 24/7 STEMI coverage. Procedures include diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, TEE’s, cardioversions, temporary and permanent pacemakers, Intra-aortic Balloon Pumps as well as peripheral angiogram and intervention by vascular surgery.
Responsibilities
- Provide interventional services at UPMC Jameson and UPMC Horizon locations.
- Collaborate with interventional colleagues for 24/7 STEMI coverage.
- Perform diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, TEE’s, cardioversions, pacemaker procedures, and peripheral angiograms.
- Work closely with a team of APPs and other staff to focus on advancing care.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Cardiology.
- Valid Pennsylvania medical license.
- Proven experience in interventional cardiology practices.
