Cardiology - Non-Invasive Physician Job with UPMC in New Castle, PA

About the role

UPMC’s Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) seeks a full-time, general, non-invasive cardiologist to join its expanding team in 2026 or 2027. The successful candidate will enjoy a clinical academic appointment and provide inpatient/outpatient services at its UPMC Jameson &/or UPMC Horizon locations.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient cardiology consultations
• Critical care services
• ECG analysis
• Interpretation of transthoracic echocardiograms
• Perform/interpret transesophageal echocardiograms
• Perform/interpret cardiac nuclear studies
• Teaching (optional)
• Weekly rotation with cardiologists within the practice
• Weekend coverage shared 1:4

Requirements

• Board Certification in Cardiology
• Valid Pennsylvania medical license
• Proven experience in non-invasive cardiology practices
