Cardiology Interventional Physician
AdventHealth Carrollwood/AdventHealth Tampa is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist with preferably 3-5 years post-training to join a well-established, busy group of employed cardiologists with senior leadership. The group currently includes 4 non-invasive cardiologists, 1 interventional cardiologist, and 3 APPs. Call will be 1:6 or 1:7 for STEMI call, and weekend call is 1:6 or 1:7. Growth in the area necessitates another cardiologist. Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
A new six-story patient tower is set to open in 2029, and this cardiologist will cross-cover with AdventHealth Tampa, located 9 miles away. AdventHealth is one of the largest faith-based, non-profit healthcare systems in the U.S., with 50 hospitals across 10 states. The West Florida Division is the fastest-growing division, comprising 11 hospitals. The mission is "Extending the Healing Ministry of Christ," with a brand statement of "Whole Person Care."
Responsibilities
- Provide interventional cardiology services, including STEMI call and weekend call on a 1:6 or 1:7 rotation.
- Cross-cover with AdventHealth Tampa as needed.
- Collaborate with a team of non-invasive cardiologists and advanced practice providers.
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology.
- Medical Doctor with or without U.S. residency, holding a current U.S. work visa.
- Preferably 3-5 years of post-training experience.
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
