Cardiology Interventional Physician

About the role

Seeking an interventional cardiologist to work full time in a well-established, growing cardiology practice providing comprehensive cardiovascular care for Waycross and southeastern Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients in Waycross and southeastern Georgia
• Work in a busy ER treating more than 45,000 emergencies annually
• Treat patients in heart, orthopaedics, surgery, rehabilitation, sleep and birthing centers
• Participate in a multidisciplinary team offering extensive mental health programs for seniors and those suffering with memory loss
• Offer outpatient services next to the hospital
• Support a cardiac rehabilitation program

Requirements

• Fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology
• Board eligible or board certified
• Georgia Medical licensure or ability to obtain
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, physicians and administration

Qualifications

• Ability to sponsor J1 VISA Waiver
• Flexible call schedule
• High volume practice with ability to ramp up quickly
