Cardiology APP - St. Joseph's Hospital, Tampa, Florida

About the role

BayCare Medical Group, a physician-led organization, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their busy Cardiology practice at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Support outpatient clinic visits for General and Interventional Cardiology patients
• Outpatient established patient/hospital follow-up visits
• Inpatient rounding
• Exposure to high-acuity cardiology patients and an established patient volume
• Work with a highly collaborative team that values mentorship and professional growth
• Weekend call coverage rotation 1 in 5 weeks, with the following Monday off

Requirements

• Two years of experience as a provider in cardiac medicine
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with multiple providers
• Flexible, compassionate, and energetic with a strong team-oriented mindset

Qualifications

• Active Florida license and certification NP-C or PA-C
• Acute Care Certification is required
• Current DEA license

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
