About the role
The cardiology nurse practitioner serves as a healthcare provider specializing in suspected or known heart diseases. This role includes outpatient and telehealth visits, curbside consultations, coordination of pacemaker and defibrillator monitoring, and administration of IV medications. You will oversee stress testing and deliver educational presentations to patients and providers. This position offers work-life balance with Monday to Friday working hours and no hospital call or weekend requirements. The role is onsite, 8 AM to 5 PM, and reports to a cardiologist.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient and telehealth visits for patients with suspected or known heart diseases
- Provide curbside consultations
- Coordinate pacemaker and defibrillator monitoring
- Administer IV medications
- Oversee stress testing
- Deliver educational presentations to patients and providers
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted APRN license or willingness to obtain a medical license in the state of practice
- Graduate of an accredited APRN program from an accredited university
- High level of skill with interpersonal relationships and communications with colleagues and patients
- Proficiency in using email and EMR (Electronic Medical Records)
- At least one year of experience working as a cardiovascular nurse practitioner
- Experience with pacemaker/ICD monitoring
- Ability to place IVs and administer IV medications
- This role is patient-facing and part of Humana/Senior Bridge's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program; selected candidates will be required to undergo TB screening
- Passion for contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate of the ACC (AACC credential)
- Experience with dobutamine pump
- Experience in electrophysiology
- Experience managing a Medicare Advantage panel of patients with an understanding of best practices in a coordinated care environment
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and coverage
- Knowledge of HEDIS quality indicators

Pay
The pay range for this role is $123,800 - $170,300 per year, based on geographic location and individual qualifications such as skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
Schedule
Scheduled weekly hours: 40 (Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM).
