About the role
Provide specialized care for patients with suspected or known heart diseases.
Responsibilities
- Conduct outpatient and telehealth visits
- Coordinate pacemaker and defibrillator monitoring
- Administer IV medications and oversee stress testing
- Provide curbside consultations and educational presentations to patients and providers
- Report to a cardiologist and work onsite during standard weekday hours
Requirements
- Current and unrestricted APRN license or willingness to obtain one
- Graduate of an accredited APRN program
- Minimum of one year cardiovascular nurse practitioner experience
- Experience with pacemaker/ICD monitoring and IV procedures
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with email and EMR systems
- Passion for improving patient care and contributing to healthcare quality
Preferred Qualifications
- ACC (AACC) credential
- Experience with dobutamine pump and electrophysiology
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines, HEDIS indicators, and managing Medicare Advantage panels
