Cardiologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the role

Seeking a Board-Certified Cardiologist (MD) for inpatient and outpatient care in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage general cardiology consultations for hospitalized and clinic patients requiring specialized cardiovascular care.
• Provide comprehensive cardiovascular services during inpatient rounds from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with night and weekend call duties.
• Document all patient encounters and treatments using the EPIC EMR system.
• Provide timely and effective cardiac care in an inpatient and clinic environment.
• Ensure accurate documentation and care coordination through EPIC EMR.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities to support urgent cardiovascular needs.

Requirements

• Board certification in cardiology.
• Ability to handle variable case loads for adult patients.
• Strong documentation skills and proficiency with electronic medical records.
