About the role
This role involves providing inpatient interventional cardiology services in a 250-bed facility, with a focus on comprehensive cardiac care. The position is on-site and requires active call participation and clinical expertise in interventional procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform procedures such as balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, carotid stenting, and atherectomy
- Cover day shifts, night shifts, and 24-hour weekend call responsibilities, including scheduled night shifts and full weekend call
- Manage variable caseloads in an adult patient population
Requirements
- Board certification in Interventional Cardiology
- Prescriptive authority
