About the role

Join us as a board-certified or residency-trained Cardiologist at VCA Veterinary Specialists of CT. You'll be part of a team dedicated to providing world-class medicine, supported by state-of-the-art facilities and a talented group of professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert cardiology care to a diverse patient population
  • Collaborate with other specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Contribute to the education and professional development of fellow veterinarians and support staff
  • Participate in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of veterinary cardiology

Requirements

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university or equivalent
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state, or the ability to obtain
  • A commitment to high standards of veterinary medicine and ethical practice

Qualifications

  • Board certification or residency training in cardiology
  • Experience in advanced diagnostic techniques and treatments for cardiovascular diseases
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities
  • Proficiency in medical software and diagnostic tools

Pay

Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. The salary range listed is based on a 40-hour work week. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
