About the role
As a Cardiac Tele Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC), you will ensure and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during your designated shift. In collaboration with the management team, you will direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will serve as a resource for staff and model the organization’s vision, mission, and values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of patient care services in collaboration with the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to foster a teamwork environment that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Operationalize nursing strategies such as employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives to improve engagement.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Recommend and implement courses of action, including training, conflict resolution, policy compliance, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor aspects in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma.
- One year of acute care experience required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- No travel required.
