About the role
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services using ultrasound equipment, demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology, and delivers patient care to all age groups—neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited AMA-approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire
