Cardiac Sonographer Grade 3

About the Role

The Heart Centre is a superbly equipped facility conducting a full range of both invasive and non-invasive procedures. The Centre has four full-time and one part-time cardiac catheterisation labs and thirteen digital echo machines (across 2 campuses), including thirteen state-of-the-art 3D machines.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Cardiac Physiologist (Grade 3) Echocardiographer to join our team on a part-time basis, working 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of cardiac technology and the results generated
• Work independently to perform high-quality work
• Obtain relevant patient information and communicate with patients effectively and professionally
• Work collaboratively across the Cardiology department and with other medical staff
• Promote safety in the workplace at all times when working with patients and colleagues

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in Cardiac Sonography
• Desirable: ASAR registration
• Desirable: Graduate Diploma in Echocardiography
