What You Will Do
- Perform advanced echocardiograms (adult, pediatric, and neonatal), including stress and specialized studies in compliance with ASE, ACC, and IAC standards
- Assess patients, review medical history, and ensure accurate, timely exam completion
- Use clinical judgment to identify abnormalities, administer contrast when needed, and communicate critical findings
- Complete accurate documentation and provide data for physician interpretation
- Maintain efficient lab operations, including scheduling coordination, equipment care, and supply management
- Deliver excellent patient care by ensuring comfort, safety, and effective communication
- Mentor staff and students and serve as a clinical resource
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
What You Will Need
- Education: Required - Associate degree, Preferred - Bachelor’s Degree
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program with echocardiography training
- Experience: Required - 3–5 years of relevant cardiac sonography experience, Preferred - Strong experience in pediatric and neonatal echocardiography
- Certifications & Licensure: Required - Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification
- Proficiency: In advanced echocardiographic imaging techniques, Pediatric and congenital heart disease assessments, Echo contrast administration
Pay
Salary Range: $31.62 - 50.79 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
