About the role

To perform cardiac ultrasound procedures of a professional level on all patient population serviced by South Shore Health & Educational Corporation other than pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the safety, mental and physical comfort of the patient

Qualifications

• BLS - Basic Life Support

Skills

• Ability to demonstrate competency in cardiovascular echocardiography
• Ability to recognize abnormal structure and correlate this information into a useful study
• Ability to deviate from normal techniques, when necessary, to develop new techniques
• Ability to utilize ancillary devices, i.e., selected transducers
