Cardiac Medical Unit Patient Care Technician

Join our collaborative nursing team as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) and support Registered Nurses in delivering hands-on care. Help create a safe, welcoming environment for patients by assisting with daily needs, monitoring conditions, and carrying out care plans. Your empathy and teamwork will restore comfort and dignity for every patient.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient preparation, mobility, transfers, and comfort to support smooth care and recovery.
  • Provide non-medicated care such as dressing changes, skin protection, and use of supportive devices.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and stocked patient areas and common spaces to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Manage supplies, equipment, and logs to support infection control and team readiness.
  • Communicate kindly with patients, families, and the care team to support safety and quality.

Requirements

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date).
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
  • High School Graduate / GED required.
  • New Hampshire LNA license required.

Schedule

Full Time Nights, 36 hours per pay period, 7a-7p, working every other weekend and rotating holidays.
