Cardiac Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hospital cardiology and electrophysiology teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Write History & Physicals (H&P’s) for Electrophysiology surgeries and assist in consultations.
  • Manage implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, and loop recorders) in the inpatient setting.
  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with arrhythmias, including anti-arrhythmic drug therapy and anticoagulation management.
  • Support hospital cardiology and electrophysiology teams by assisting with inpatient consultations, care coordination, and management of hospitalized patients.
  • Participate in stress lab procedures.

Requirements

  • CT State license, DEA, CSR (active or applied preferred) but not required.
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
  • Board certification.
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in Cardiology required.
  • Experience in Electrophysiology preferred.
  • No new graduates.
