Job Duties
- Direct procedural, inpatient, and outpatient clinical care
- Teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
- University/public service
- Regular attendance at scheduled meetings and CME activities
- Provide expert clinical care in the field of electrophysiology
- Train in specific areas such as lead extraction, advanced ablations, left atrial appendage occlusion, and device implantations
- Collaborate with a diverse group of cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and nurse practitioners in a highly regarded Cardiovascular Program
- Work with the full-time faculty, cardiac electrophysiology, and cardiovascular fellowship in a dynamic environment
Minimum Qualifications
- M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or equivalent degree
- Board-certified in cardiovascular disease and board-certified or board-eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
- Excellent clinical and procedural skills
- Willingness to actively participate in medical education
- Interest in clinical research
- Eligible for a Texas medical license
