Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Responsibilities

• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures by preparing patients, operating imaging and hemodynamic monitoring equipment, and assisting during cath lab cases through scrubbing, circulating, and recording.
• Monitor vital signs, administer contrast and medications following protocols, maintain radiation safety and sterile techniques.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care, document in the EMR, and contribute to quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a patient-centered team
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular procedures
• Proficiency with imaging and monitoring equipment
• Knowledge of radiation safety and sterile techniques
• Excellent documentation skills
