Responsibilities

  • Transport patients to and from the Cath Lab
  • Perform special procedures in the outpatient room (i.e., TEEs, Cardioversions, Stress tests, etc.)
  • Effectively communicate verbal and written information, instruction and/or education to the patient, family members and other members of the health care team as appropriate
  • Perform and document nursing care for all admission and recovery room patients within the Cath Lab Scope of Care

Qualifications

  • RN license in the state of Virginia
  • Minimum of one year of ICU/CCU or comparable ER, Cath Lab and/or recovery experience required
  • Three years working as a Registered Nurse preferred
  • Additional training in critical care, ER and/or recovery preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
