Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse - PRN

About the role

The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse provides direct patient care, utilizing critical thinking and clinical expertise during cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients' families.
• Educate patients and families on managing their condition, post-treatment care, and medications.
• Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development.
• Administer conscious sedation, monitor patient responses, and manage airway during procedures.
• Advocate for patients' needs, respecting their values, emotional, spiritual, and cultural considerations.

Requirements

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years bedside experience, preferably in Critical Care, Emergency Department, or Cardiac Cath.
• BSN preferred; ADN/BSN/MSN candidates accepted.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and safety awareness.
• Must reside within 30 minutes of the hospital for call requirements.

Schedule

10-hour shifts (7:00am–5:30pm), no nights, weekends, or holidays.
