About the role
FT Cardiac Anesthesiologist opportunity to support our busy hospital-based practice in White Plains, NY. Our practice provides anesthesia services for a diverse case mix at White Plains Hospital and five Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the area. We work together in a care team model focused on giving everyone a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping them to deliver care excellence.
Responsibilities
- Case assignments: Mix of inpatient and outpatient cases in state-of-the-art, brand new operating rooms
- Great variety of cases including general, OB, regional, vascular, cardiac, pediatrics, neuro and ortho; no transplant cases and no trauma
- Cardiac and young pediatrics cases covered by the cardiac and peds team
- Plenty of opportunity to expand your regional anesthesia skills
- Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- Pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
- Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Requirements
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
Schedule
- Low frequency of call as well as a very efficient peel off system
- Recent enhancements include a Night Float Anesthesiologist for Labor and Delivery as well as a low frequency of overnight call

Pay
- Salary: $600K
- Clinical Specialty Stipend: $25k
- Sign on Incentive: Up to $100K Sign On Package
