The opportunity is for an Anesthesiologist to support our busy hospital-based practice in White Plains, NY. White Plains Hospital is the most awarded and fastest-growing hospital in Westchester County, just north of NYC. It offers renowned programs and services for specialized surgical care, supported by the anesthesiology department. Operations and surgical procedures are performed solely by attendings, ensuring exceptional efficiency. The primary mission of the not-for-profit healthcare organization is to provide compassionate, high-quality healthcare and preventive medical care to people in the Westchester County area. Our practice provides anesthesia services at White Plains Hospital and five Ambulatory Surgery Centers in the region. Recent enhancements include a Night Float Anesthesiologist for Labor and Delivery and a low frequency of overnight call.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution

• Completion of Anesthesiology Residency

• Board Eligible or Board Certified

• Current medical licensure

• ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)

Case Assignments & Schedule

• 8h, 10h, 12h or a mix, minimum of 30 hours a week on average

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient cases

• State of the art, brand new operating rooms

• Great variety of cases including general, OB, regional, vascular, cardiac, pediatrics, neuro and ortho

• No transplant cases and no trauma

• Cardiac and young pediatrics cases covered by the cardiac and peds team
