About the role
This Card Services Product Strategist role is for a self-directed, analytical thinker who can turn insights into action and bring forward-thinking payments strategies to life. The position is currently hybrid-eligible, with the expectation of three days pre-assigned on-site attendance. We require California residency and living within a 50-mile commute of our headquarters in Santa Ana.
Responsibilities
- Evolve our card portfolio strategy, including development and optimization of credit and debit card programs (features, pricing, benefits).
- Anticipate payments trends and bring innovative solutions to market quickly.
- Use data to uncover insights, drive performance, and improve interchange and portfolio growth.
- Leverage new tools and technology, including AI, to elevate results.
- Collaborate across teams to support growth in lending, business banking, and beyond.
- Improve servicing models and empower teams with tools and insights.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and member expectations.
- Use storytelling and data to influence leadership and shape strategy.
- Streamline processes, improve efficiency, and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Produce initiatives that enhance performance, profitability, and member satisfaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in card services, payments, or product development (financial services preferred).
- Proven success driving product growth and innovation.
- Strong data analysis and performance optimization skills.
- Advanced PowerPoint and executive presentation abilities.
- Experience working cross-functionally to implement solutions.

Pay
The anticipated range for this role is $95k - $120k annually. Final offers are based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
