Car Wash Lead
Position Summary
The Car Wash Lead will report directly to the Store Manager and be responsible for ensuring the daily car wash operation runs efficiently while maintaining high standards to the overall appearance and cleanliness of the car wash property. They will also be responsible for building strong guest relations and ensuring the highest quality car wash for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Manage day to day operations and communicate effectively with the Store Manager
- Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the car wash by performing cleaning of facility, equipment room, exterior grounds and vacuum area and ensure everything is kept in the appropriate place and organized
- Ensure all equipment (Payment stations, wash equipment, power washer, vacuums) are kept operational. When an issue arises, they are able to resolve the issue or submit a Service Channel ticket
- Greet all guests in a friendly manner to make them feel welcomed and appreciated and provide assistance, when needed, in any area concerning car wash process or at the vacuums
- Handle customer complaints, employee conflicts and daily operational problems in an even-tempered, fair and consistent manner
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Should be able to know how to use certain equipment to work efficiently in an automated facility
- Assist in the training of any Team Member that will assist with the Car Wash or new Car Wash Specialists
- Assist Store Manager in-store with any duties needed when the Car Wash is closed or during slow business times due to poor weather

Requirements
- Minimum Education: N/A
- Preferred Education: High School or GED
- Minimum Experience: 3 months as a Guest Service Associate with Cumberland Farms or previous car wash experience
- Preferred Experience: 6 - 12 months car wash, retail, guest service, or restaurant
- Licenses/Certifications: N/A
- Soft Skills: Comfortable talking and interacting with guests and team members, high energy, organized and ability to work independently, team-oriented; willing to give extra effort to help others
Hours & Conditions
- Scheduling: Full-time, working a variety of hours, day and night, as Cumberland Farms Car Wash and retail locations can be open 24 hours depending on the store. Weekend & Holiday hours are required.
- Travel: 5% to cover other locations as needed
- Hrs & Conditions: Full-time (30 – 40 hours)

- Ability to stand/walk 8 hours a day
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Reach overhead, bend, squat, twist, reach, grasp and grip
- Work in cooler (cold temperatures)
