Team members are encouraged to build long-term relationships with customers and contribute to a positive, professional dealership environment.Role Description The Car Salesperson is a full-time, on-site role based at McFarland Kia in North Hampton, NH. This role involves greeting customers, learning about their needs, and presenting suitable vehicle options through test drives and product demonstrations. The Car Salesperson will guide customers through pricing, financing options, and paperwork, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with dealership processes. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining product knowledge on Kia vehicles, following up with leads, supporting customer retention efforts, and collaborating with the sales and finance teams to meet individual and dealership sales goals.Qualifications Customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction and Customer Retention, with a commitment to delivering a positive buying experience.Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build rapport, explain vehicle features, and handle questions clearly and professionally.Experience or strong interest in Automotive Sales, with the ability to understand product features, pricing, and financing options.Basic computer skills and comfort using CRM or dealership sales systems.Ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends as needed, and maintain a professional appearance.Prior sales experience in automotive or related industries is preferred but not required; training will be provided.Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
