About the role

CGS is seeking a skilled Captured Enemy Material (CEM) Analyst – Senior to participate in the exploitation and analysis of CEM related documents and media. The role involves applying advanced analytic capabilities to identify, assess, and report on enemy capabilities and tactics in support of target development and warning, and the production of all-source strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence analysis. Additionally, the analyst will produce intelligence products associated with researching, analyzing, evaluating, and publishing routine intelligence studies, plans, and/or products, collaborating with other analysts throughout the DoD and the Intelligence Community on forecasts and assessments.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the exploitation and provide analysis of CEM related documents and media
  • Utilize advanced analytic capabilities to identify, assess, and report on enemy capabilities and tactics in support of target development and warning and the production of all-source strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence analysis
  • Produce intelligence products associated with researching, analyzing, evaluating, and publishing routine intelligence studies, plans, and or products and collaborate with other analysts throughout the DoD and the Intelligence Community on forecasts and assessments
  • Possess advanced skill sets with the Intelligence Cycle, High Value Individuals (HVI) Targeting, Social Network Analysis, Patterns of Life Analysis, Sensitive Site Exploitation (SSE) and data-at-rest
  • Employ expert knowledge and understanding of analytical theory, doctrine, rules, regulations, directives, systems, concepts, methodologies, and relevant skills related to intelligence operations
  • Employ expert knowledge of applying tradecraft, tools, and methods to collect, analyze, and integrate complex information related to targeting
  • Maintain global readiness and be available to deploy on a no-notice basis to hazardous duty/combat zones
  • Enforce requirements, focusing the team of intelligence analysts
  • Ensure quality control of products
  • Research, develop, and present intelligence products at the operational level for senior leaders including CT and regional analysis, GEOINT, HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT/PAI, political/military analysis and support to targeting efforts, and threat analysis
  • Aid in directing requirements, focusing the team of intelligence analysts, and ensuring quality control of products

Qualifications

  • Minimum of six (6) years of analytical experience within the DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with four (4) years at the operational level
  • Highly proficient in utilizing current intelligence related automation, applications, tools, and databases to support analytical efforts and product development
  • Strong briefing and writing skills
  • Strong background and firsthand experience are required in the following analytical areas: SSE, data-at-rest, Regional Analysis, Geo-Political Analysis, HUMINT/SIGINT Analysis and Collection Management
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to work as a part of a team to identify trends and information of value within data-at-rest to drive reporting and production to alert decision-makers of new developments and to meet specific customer requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of SOF and or CT intelligence experience is highly desirable
  • Advanced skill sets with the Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze and Disseminate (F3EAD) targeting methodology to include broad knowledge of additional intelligence disciplines and significant demonstrable experience in their field capable of leading analytical efforts culminating in products
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI
