Capture Manager (Federal Civilian)

This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Business Services environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new opportunities aligned with DDC's Federal IT capabilities
  • Lead strategic reviews and competitive assessments for potential captures
  • Develop customer engagement strategies and maintain strong relations with stakeholders
  • Create comprehensive capture plans detailing actions, risks, and resources
  • Transition capture strategies into actionable proposal development
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure alignment of capture and proposal strategies
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of capture reviews and gate assessments

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in Federal Government contracting, with 5+ recent years as Capture Manager
  • Proven track record of Federal contract wins with direct capture responsibility
  • Experience leading complex IT pursuits valued between $10 million to over $100 million
  • Established relationships with government decision-makers and industry partners
  • Deep knowledge of Federal Civilian acquisition environments and major contract vehicles
  • Ability to develop and assess competitive capture strategies and pricing models
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills, with capacity to manage multiple concurrent pursuits

Pay

$145,000 – $170,000 annually
