CAPTAIN (MASTER)

Job Purpose The Captain (master) holds overall command of the vessel and its crew, ensuring safe navigation, compliance with international maritime regulations, and effective execution of voyages. This role is critical in safeguarding offshore operations, maintaining operational excellence, and upholding South Coast Marines Limited’s commitment to safety, professionalism, and client satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities Exercise overall command of the vessel and crew.Ensure safe navigation and compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and Flag State regulations.Implement and maintain the ISM Code onboard.Plan and execute voyages efficiently and safely.Conduct regular safety drills and oversee emergency command and crisis management.Liaise with vessel owners, charterers, and relevant maritime authorities.Maintain discipline, morale, and welfare of crew members.Ensure proper documentation and reporting in line with company and regulatory requirements.
