Key Responsibilities

  • Aid in sourcing and managing tax equity and debt for projects and corporate facilities, including reviewing proposals and making recommendations.
  • Create RFP materials for prospective lenders and investors, such as teasers and consultant reports, and perform financial modeling.
  • Maintain a dataroom and communicate with prospective lenders and investors during the RFP and selection process.
  • Conduct day-to-day diligence and coordinate with technical and financial advisors, as well as other Origis teams working on the projects. Escalate any issues to the PF Director.
  • Prepare and monitor third-party consultant budgets for projects, ensuring timely delivery of key reports and proper reliance.
  • Absorb timelines established by the deal lead for various workstreams and flag any deviations or delays.
  • Ensure accuracy of all financial modeling aspects by collaborating closely with a member of the Investment team and providing necessary inputs and checks.
  • Support the team lead through deal execution and documentation, including negotiating term sheets and financing documents with legal counsel, and assisting project development and BD teams with all aspects of project documentation, including third-party consents and amendments as needed.

Ongoing Reporting, Compliance, and Internal

  • Post-closing, serve as the primary point of contact for compliance and reporting; track and provide all financing-related deliverables in collaboration with Asset Management.
  • Manage day-to-day management of closed financings as assigned, including discrete construction financings, projects financed through the construction warehouse, and the Development Finance Facility, coordinating Borrowing Base determinations based on project additions or removals.
  • Administer and handle draws of cash and letter of credit on existing financing facilities.
  • Coordinate amendment and waiver processes with lenders, external counsel, and third-party consultants, ensuring the preparation and delivery of necessary documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with the Investment team to provide an updated draw schedule for reporting purposes.
  • Update internal systems, including Solaris.
  • Communicate with accounting and FP&A on significant project changes.

Marketing / Relationship Management

  • Support Directors and SVPs with marketing materials, including preparing update decks.
  • Attend meetings with debt providers and tax equity investors as needed.
  • Establish direct work relationships with peers at tax equity and lending institutions.

Leadership and Management

  • Oversee and train junior team members in the deal team, ensuring deadlines are met and work products are of high quality.
  • Mentor all junior team members, setting a positive example in both knowledge and work ethic.

Other / Ad-Hoc

  • Assist and coordinate executive reporting, including updates to investors, board material, debt compliance scorecards, external financial reporting, and disclosures.
  • Lead new market research and analysis, policy research, and set up databases with relevant information to enhance the Capital Markets team's understanding of new commercial structures, technologies, incentives, and state programs as needed.
  • Assist management in the acquisition and sale of projects as needed.
  • Provide general support for ad hoc strategic initiatives.
