SUMMARY
The Capital Management Officer supports the organization’s investor relations and capital management activities by providing operational and analytical support to the Capital Management department, and other Evernorth business lines as appropriate.
Specific Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation of investor communications, including quarterly reporting, sponsor reviews, and other standard and ad-hoc investor requests.
- Support fund closings by preparing investor due diligence requests, including populating investor-specific Excel data requests.
- Maintain integrity and accuracy of project-level model projections after project completion.
- Input annual project-level tax return data into financial models and review for completeness and accuracy.
- Monitor variances in lower tier model performance versus projections, flagging projects for additional levels of review.
- Maintain and audit fund-level investment models and generate investor quarterly benefit schedules with oversight from the Director of Capital Management.
- Aid in capital account maintenance in coordination with the fund accountant.
- Input and maintain fund level data in Evernorth’s proprietary database.
- Support due-diligence activities related to asset dispositions.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, workflows, and coordination across Capital Management, Community Investments, Finance, Lending, and Asset Management.
- Participate in ongoing education, including financial modeling, LIHTC, and other areas relevant to Evernorth’s business.
- Perform additional tasks as requested.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business administration, real estate, public policy, or related field required.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience in finance, investment operations, affordable housing finance, community development finance, or related fields preferred.
- Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and financial data skills, high attention to detail, strong organizational and project management skills, ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments, effective written and verbal communication skills, advanced proficiency with Excel and financial tracking tools.
- Preferred Experience: Exposure to community development finance tools such as LIHTC, NMTC, or other impact investment structures, experience working with financial models, investment analysis, or transaction coordination, familiarity with affordable housing finance or nonprofit capital markets.
