Principle Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage mill capital projects, focusing on mechanical aspects.
- Provide engineering services to maintenance and operating department personnel as needed to resolve all mechanical issues.
- Develop project scopes, plans, and justifications, prepare cost estimates, and ensure engineering design, equipment, and material specifications are met.
- Manage project costs, schedules, consultants, contractors, and construction, ensuring start-up processes are smooth and efficient.
- Create and implement safety plans to ensure all projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Interact with purchasing, accounting, and other departments within the mill to facilitate project progress and compliance.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial setting or equivalent experience.
- Project Management skills are essential.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Project, is required.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- A current valid driver’s license is required.
Compensation And Benefits
- Starting salary range: $85,000 to $127,200.
