About the role
Designs and analyzes structural and thermal performance of avionics and electromechanical hardware for demanding defense environments.
Responsibilities
- Run FEA and CFD using ANSYS
- Develop 3D CAD models and detailed drawings in PTC Creo
- Apply GD&T and DFM practices
- Document and communicate analysis results and design findings
- Collaborate with systems, electrical, and government engineers to satisfy environmental, EMI/EMC, and military standards
- Support build and installation activities as needed
Qualifications
- Proficiency in ANSYS (FEA/CFD)
- Proficiency in PTC Creo for CAD and drawing creation
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and DFM
- Ability to work cross-functionally and document engineering analyses
- Understanding of design constraints related to environmental, EMI/EMC, and military standards
