As a member of the Optum Rx Clinical Engagement Solutions team, the Capability Manager will play a key role in managing and optimizing members and provider communications across multiple channels. This role supports the strategic execution of omnichannel communications, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and member/provider engagement. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in the print communications industry and demonstrate a strong understanding of digital channels such as email, SMS, and automated voice. They must have the ability to manage multiple complex projects, collaborate across teams and vendors, and thrive in a fast-paced, result-oriented environment. Primary Responsibilities Oversight and management of omnichannel communications for both members and provider audiences (mail, fax, SMS, email, IVR, direct EMR messaging)Oversee daily monitoring and issue resolution across all communication channelsManage the deployment of client-driven and regulatory communication updates across all supported channelsPartner with internal governance, legal, and compliance stakeholders to ensure all communications meet required standards and regulationsPartner with technology teams, supporting enhancements to communication capabilities and platform improvementsManage relationships with multiple vendors to ensure quality, timeliness, and compliance You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear directions on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in omnichannel communication operations (email, SMS, print, etc.) or related project management3+ years of experience in healthcare, PBM, or regulated industriesIntermediate level of proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and TeamsAbility to be flexible and work with ambiguity; self-starterAbility to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment Preferred Qualifications Experience managing financial requests and associated inputs (cost-benefits analysis, business case, etc.)Strong background in print communications and production processesProficiency in Adobe Acrobat Pro and InDesignFamiliarity with healthcare regulations (ex. CMS and State) and TCPAAbility to solve complex problems and lead/facilitate meetings to achieve desired outcomesExcellent presentation, time management, organizational, prioritization, and communication skillsDemonstrated success in vendor management and cross-functional collaborationAll Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
