About the Role
As a Canvasser, you're a Storm Guard brand ambassador. You'll be out in the community every day, connecting with homeowners, generating leads, and opening doors — literally — for our sales team. This role sharpens your communication, marketing, and influence skills, and it's one of the most direct paths to advancement at Storm Guard. Whether you're launching a career or looking for a flexible way to earn extra income, this is a role where effort pays off.
Responsibilities
- Connect with Homeowners
- Canvass neighborhoods daily, introducing Storm Guard's services to homeowners.
- Build rapport with prospective and existing customers through genuine, helpful conversations.
- Generate leads and schedule inspection appointments for the sales team.
- Represent the Brand
- Deliver interactive presentations on Storm Guard's products and services.
- Develop referral relationships with current and past customers.
- Be the first impression of Storm Guard in the communities we serve.
- Stay Organized and Engaged
- Participate in daily check-in calls and strategic planning sessions with your team.
- Use canvassing software and CRM tools to log activity and track your progress.

- Outgoing personality. You're comfortable approaching people and starting conversations.
- Confidence. You can speak with poise and handle objections without taking them personally.
- Self-motivation. You don't need someone looking over your shoulder to stay productive.

- Availability. You can work Mon–Fri, 12 PM to 7 PM, and Saturdays, 10 AM to 3:30 PM.

Pay
Base Salary + Commission. Realistic total compensation first year: $50,000 - $80,000.
Performance-based bonuses. Outstanding effort is recognized and rewarded.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 12 PM to 7 PM
- Saturday: 10 AM to 3:30 PM
This is a door-to-door role performed in various weather conditions.
