Canvasser

About the role

As a Canvasser, you’ll meet with homeowners in local neighborhoods, start conversations, and help schedule free in-home consultations. This is an entry-level sales role where you are not expected to close deals, but to generate interest from a great first impression.

Responsibilities

• Talk with homeowners in a friendly, professional way
• Introduce our window, bath, and kitchen solutions
• Create interest and answer basic questions
• Schedule qualified, no-obligation appointments for sales representatives
• Work with your team to hit daily and weekly goals
• Help people learn about Mad City Windows & Baths and set appointments for our In‑Home Sales Representatives

Requirements

• Comfortable starting conversations with new people
• Positive, energetic, and motivated by goals
• Reliable, coachable, and ready to learn
• Competitive in a healthy way and excited to earn bonuses
• Comfortable being active and working outdoors during the day
• Walking throughout neighborhoods for extended periods
• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Standing, bending, and moving throughout the workday

Qualifications

• Previous experience in canvassing, retail, customer service, hospitality, restaurants, athletics, or lead generation is helpful, but not required.
• If you bring the effort, we’ll teach you the rest.

Pay

• $20/hour starting pay guaranteed
• Uncapped bonuses based on your performance
