About the role

Get paid to be active, meet people, and build your career. Aspen Contracting is looking for energetic, outgoing individuals to join our Canvassing Team. As a Canvasser, you'll work directly in local neighborhoods introducing homeowners to Aspen Contracting and scheduling free exterior property inspections for our Sales team. No canvassing experience is required; we provide training, tools, and ongoing support.

You will report to the Nicholasville office for team meetings, daily assignments, and business-related activities while working alongside the local General Manager and Sales team.

Work Environment

• Outdoor, door-to-door appointment setting
• Walking neighborhoods daily

Responsibilities

• Walk assigned neighborhoods throughout the day
• Speak with homeowners professionally and confidently
• Schedule free exterior property inspections for homeowners
• Record customer information using company-provided canvassing applications
• Utilize an iPad and mobile technology to manage appointments and activity
• Represent Aspen Contracting with professionalism and integrity
• Attend team meetings and training
• Work closely with the local Sales team to help generate new business

Requirements

• Outgoing, friendly, reliable, self-motivated, and coachable
• Comfortable starting conversations with new people
• Goal-oriented
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
• Comfortable using an iPad and mobile applications throughout the workday
• Customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurant, fitness, warehouse, event staffing, or other public-facing experience is helpful but not required

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Driver’s License preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to walk for extended periods throughout the workday
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to work a full-time schedule, including afternoons, evenings, and some weekends

Pay

• $17.00/hour
• Uncapped performance bonuses
• Weekly pay
