Canvasser

Aspen Contracting is looking for energetic, outgoing individuals to join our Canvassing Team in the Greater Kansas City area. Work directly in local neighborhoods introducing homeowners to Aspen Contracting and scheduling free exterior property inspections for our Sales team. No experience required—we provide training, tools, and ongoing support.

About the role

As a Canvasser, you’ll represent Aspen Contracting by meeting homeowners in local neighborhoods and scheduling free property inspections. This is a full-time, W-2 position with a base pay of $17.00/hour plus uncapped performance bonuses, paid weekly. Training is provided, and you’ll report to our Lee’s Summit office for team meetings and daily assignments.

Responsibilities

• Walk assigned neighborhoods throughout the day.
• Speak with homeowners professionally and confidently.
• Schedule free exterior property inspections for homeowners.
• Record customer information using company-provided canvassing applications.
• Utilize an iPad and mobile technology to manage appointments and activity.
• Represent Aspen Contracting with professionalism and integrity.
• Attend team meetings and training.
• Work closely with the local Sales team to help generate new business.

Requirements

• Outgoing, friendly, and self-motivated.
• Comfortable starting conversations with new people.
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable using an iPad and mobile applications.
• Ability to walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Reliable transportation.
• Full-time availability, including afternoons, evenings, and some weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License preferred.
• Customer service, retail, hospitality, or other public-facing experience is helpful but not required.

Pay

• $17.00/hour base pay.
• Uncapped performance bonuses.

Schedule

• Full-time, including afternoons, evenings, and some weekends.
• Local travel throughout the Kansas City market.
