Canvasser

Get paid to be active, meet people, and build your career. Aspen Contracting is looking for energetic, outgoing individuals to join our Canvassing Team in the Springfield market. Work directly in local neighborhoods introducing homeowners to Aspen Contracting and scheduling free exterior property inspections for our Sales team.

About the role

As a Canvasser, you'll represent Aspen Contracting by meeting homeowners in local neighborhoods and scheduling free property inspections for our Sales team. No canvassing experience is required—we provide training, tools, and ongoing support.

You will report to the Nixa office for team meetings, daily assignments, and business-related activities while working alongside the local General Manager and Sales team.

• Outdoor, door-to-door appointment setting
• Walking neighborhoods daily
• Local travel throughout the Springfield market and surrounding communities

Responsibilities

• Walk assigned neighborhoods throughout the day
• Speak with homeowners professionally and confidently
• Schedule free exterior property inspections for homeowners
• Record customer information using company-provided canvassing applications
• Utilize an iPad and mobile technology to manage appointments and activity
• Represent Aspen Contracting with professionalism and integrity
• Attend team meetings and training
• Work closely with the local Sales team to help generate new business

Requirements

• Outgoing, friendly, and self-motivated
• Comfortable starting conversations with new people
• Goal-oriented and coachable
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
• Comfortable using an iPad and mobile applications throughout the workday
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Driver’s License preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to walk for extended periods throughout the workday
• Ability to work a full-time schedule, including afternoons, evenings, and some weekends

Customer service, retail, hospitality, restaurant, fitness, warehouse, event staffing, or other public-facing experience is helpful but not required.

Pay

• $17.00/hour
• Uncapped performance bonuses
