Cantonese Language Instructor

Part-time position for 3 hours per week, with potential for additional hours based on student demand. Located in downtown Boston, starting as soon as possible.

About the role

We are expanding our language offerings and seeking a Cantonese instructor to teach private classes and small groups for adults at all proficiency levels.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver Cantonese language curricula for both group and 1:1 classes
• Engage students of all levels effectively
• Work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Cantonese Language and Literature, or a related field
• Fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin at a native level
• At least 5 years’ experience teaching Cantonese to adults in both group and 1:1 settings
• Experience in multicultural environments and working with diverse teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a related field
• Ability or interest in teaching additional languages
