Key Skills/Responsibilities

• Greet guests with genuine warmth and keep check-ins and check-outs smooth and stress-free.
• Be the go-to for reservations, VIP requests, and making every guest feel like a star.
• Keep things running like clockwork by tracking logs, managing messages and packages, and handling every detail professionally and quickly.
• Stay sharp on rates, packages, and promotions, helping boost room revenue while keeping guests happy with great value.
• Build a strong, communicative team, train new associates, and tackle guest concerns or workplace hiccups with confidence and creativity—all while keeping safety and standards front and center.

Education & Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in a related field helpful.
• At least 2 to 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field required.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Compliance with certification requirements may include Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid.

Property Information

The building was formerly the headquarters of the Chicago and Northwestern Railroad. It features a dual-branded hotel with a 135-room Hilton Garden Inn and a 215-room Canopy by Hilton. The property is located in the heart of downtown Chicago across the street from Willis Tower. Together the Dual branded property has a total of 350 rooms and suites. The first floor will feature lobbies, amenities, and conference rooms. The existing 15th floor will be modified with its roof removed in its entirety to build a new 16th floor space with an independent restaurant / lounge. The project will also consist of renovating six elevators, as well as the addition of a seventh.
