Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of associates to achieve sales, profit, customer service, and operational objectives.
• Maximize sales performance, profitability, and inventory productivity within assigned Softlines departments.
• Plan and execute daily and weekly workloads to support department and store goals.
• Foster a positive, customer-focused culture that emphasizes service excellence and employee engagement.
• Ensure all customers receive an extraordinary shopping experience through proactive service and product knowledge.
• Quickly and professionally resolve customer concerns while empowering associates to provide effective solutions.
• Lead a culture of accountability through clear communication, coaching, and performance management.
• Support cross-functional store operations and collaborate with other department leaders to achieve overall store objectives.

Qualifications

• Previous retail supervisory or management experience required; experience in Apparel, Accessories, Prestige Brands, or Softlines preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve organizational objectives.
• Strong understanding of retail sales, merchandising, inventory management, and customer service principles.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
• Ability to think quickly, solve problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, and accountability.
• Able to learn and adapt to changing technology and business processes.
• Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Willingness to cross-train and support other store areas as business needs require.
