About the role
The successful candidate will provide advanced physiotherapy services in the University Hospital Waterford, contributing to the overall health and wellbeing of patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert physiotherapy assessment and treatment to patients with complex musculoskeletal conditions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Contribute to research and development projects within the physiotherapy department.
- Train and mentor junior physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Advanced qualification in Physiotherapy from an approved institution.
- At least 3 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Advanced qualification in Physiotherapy from an approved institution.
- Current registration with the Health and Social Care Professionals Council (HSCPC).
Skills
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of musculoskeletal disorders.
