Advanced Practice Provider - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Responsibilities

• Supported and rewarded in your role supporting WellSpan Physiatry patients.
• Worked in a full-time position at WellSpan Surgery and Rehabilitation Hospital, with evening coverage at WellSpan York Hospital.
• Championed inpatient rehabilitation care, coordinating with attending physiatrists and interdisciplinary teams.
• Performed rehabilitation consult evaluations and provided recommendations on patient care levels, IRF placement, and physiatry-specific management.
• Collaborated daily with attending physicians and interdisciplinary teams, reviewing vitals, labs, care plans, and maintaining ongoing communication.
• Worked in a non-admitting role with structured onboarding, working directly with attendings and receiving support from hospitalists and consult attendings.

Requirements

• Demonstrated prior experience in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) / Physiatry.
• Experience as a Hospitalist or inpatient care is preferred.
• Strong understanding of inpatient workflows, interdisciplinary care coordination, and transition planning.

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Provider (APP – NP/PA) certification.
• Current license to practice in Pennsylvania.
