(CAN) Stocking 1 Team Lead

Position Summary

Assists in the leadership of the Stocking processes, responds to problems and inquiries, and develops associates through teaching and training. Ensures a high level of customer service while ensuring task completion. Plans and executes department activities based on workload and operational functions and assists on the salesfloor as required.

What You'll Do

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting all customers in a polite and friendly manner, assisting customers by promoting products/services, locating merchandise and making purchase decisions, resolving customer issues and referring concerns where appropriate.
• Assists in providing direction and the coordination of task completion as per communicated priorities from the Stocking 1 and 2 Coach and the Store Management Team.
• Delegates, assists and follows up on completion of daily VizPick processes.
• Affirms the overall presentation of General Merchandise and Food and Consumable Departments and appearance, noting deficiencies for corrective action and executing merchandising display changes where required.
• Ensures strong communication with associates, leads the daily Team Huddle at the start of each shift and provide the team with updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Reviews completed schedules with People Lead. Assigns Associates to support with coverage in all areas of the store.
• Tours assigned areas with the Coach and team associates validate and identify training opportunities.
• Develops associates through teaching and training and provides feedback as needed.
• Contributes to a safe, clean and hazard-free work environment through adherence to Company policy and procedures, including the completion of safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Completes GTA/Workday tasks and supports Management Partner with Coach/People Lead to facilitate performance management and growth conversations for Associates.
• Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.

Minimum Qualifications

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $20.85.
