Responsibilities

• Offer excellent customer service by greeting customers, assisting with product selection, locating merchandise, promoting products and services, and resolving issues or escalating concerns as needed.
• Cover designated sales floor areas and support checkout coverage when necessary. Communicate with other associates to ensure sales floor coverage and customer needs are met.
• Perform merchandising, zoning, and recovery tasks to maintain a clean and organized sales floor. Move featured items to appropriate modular locations and process recovered merchandise from customer service and other store areas.
• Execute stocking tasks, including merchandise replenishment, pulling down stock as needed, applying security devices, and completing modular setups, including flexible and new shelving.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and obstacle-free work environment by following company guidelines and procedures, including completing safety scan logs and ensuring displays are secure.
• Demonstrate flexibility in work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet business needs and ensure consistent, high-quality customer service.

Challenges

• Manage a high workload in a dynamic environment, ensuring restocking and recovery volumes are handled accurately and on time.
• Work effectively during night shifts and plan accordingly to maintain focus and energy throughout the shift.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, lifting merchandise, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 9 kg (20 lb) and occasionally up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Execute repetitive tasks like restocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to maintain store standards.

Pay

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.75 per hour.
