About the Role

Working as a Dairy/Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada is a great opportunity to build valuable skills in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities

• Ensure the dairy and frozen section is clean, organized, and well-ordered to be customer-ready at all times.
• Perform regular stock rotation and check for expired products to guarantee freshness and compliance with quality standards.
• Ensure items are correctly labeled and prices are accurate, following established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups, markdowns, signage, and pricing.
• Maintain food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature controls, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, expiration dates, and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain promotional displays and feature items to meet merchandising standards and execute promotions.
• Maintain a tidy, clean, and obstacle-free workspace by removing debris, spills, and unnecessary items, adhering to company guidelines and health and safety regulations.
• Be available to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs to ensure smooth store operations and consistent customer service.

• Manage a high workload in a dynamic environment, ensuring efficient handling of restocking and recovery tasks with accuracy and timeliness.
• Effectively manage night shifts and plan ahead to maintain energy and focus throughout the work shift.

Physical Requirements

• Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, and lifting merchandise, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 9 kg (20 lb) and occasionally up to 23 kg (50 lb).
• Perform repetitive tasks such as restocking, zoning, and organizing products, with attention to detail and consistency to maintain store standards.

Pay

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.75 per hour.
