Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Modernizing Union’s textbook sales operation.
- Continue to develop merchandising improvements.
- Assess the short and long-term staffing needs of the operation.
- Collaborate with the VP and CMO on the creation of a strategic plan to realize the full potential of Campus Store operations; fully promote the Union brand.
Qualifications
- A minimum of seven (7) years of full-time retail or merchandising experience, inclusive of supervisory experience.
- College/university retail experience and/or bookselling experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of fashion/merchandising trends.
- Demonstrated success increasing sales in a retail setting.
- Experience in budgeting.
- Outstanding communications and marketing skills.
- Collaborative and team-oriented working style.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to balance multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously.
- Willingness and availability to occasionally work on weekends and evenings.
Compensation
The annual salary range for this position is $80,000-$90,000. Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
